Scott Peters, Defendant in deputy shootings wails for doctor in court; judge says he's faking & tells him to SHUT UP

Thursday, April 30, 2015
Scott Peters, who is accused in the shooting of two McHenry County deputies, moaned and wailed for a doctor as he was wheeled into court Wednesday morning but prosecutors and the judge said he was faking his illness to try to delay proceedings.

Judge Sharon Prather bluntly told Peters at one point to "shut up" as she tried to continue the trial. "I don't buy what you're doing at all. ... You have done everything you possibly can to delay this trial," she said.
