A 25-year-old was ordered held on $25,000 bond after police say he stole an iPad from a downtown fire station.
Antoine Jones, 25, was charged with theft of an object worth more than $500, according to court records.
About 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, Jones entered a Chicago Fire Department station located at 55 W. Illinois St. and stole an iPad, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
Jones was arrested by Near North District officers and charged, police said. A Cook County judge ordered him held on $25,000 bond Wednesday, according to court records.
