Jahmeel Green Sr., 43, was arraigned Monday in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on two charges of aggravated riot and two charges of inciting violence. He was given a $5,000 bond.
Deputies arrested Green's son, Jahmeel Green Jr. about the same time, according to a report provided by the sheriff's department Thursday. The report does not say why Green Jr. was arrested.
As deputies took Green Jr. to a holding cell, Green Sr. tried to pass something to his son, according to the report. The deputy stopped the exchange, but Green Sr. became combative and jerked his arm away from the deputy, the report said..
The deputy tried to take Green Sr. down, but he became "actively resistant," the report said.
Two other deputies stepped in, but they were unable to get Green under control. The deputy said he warned Green that he would be shocked with a stun gun if he did not stop resisting,
The struggle continued, according to the report. The deputy yelled "Taser, Taser, Taser," and then launched the stun gun's prongs into Green's abdomen. Green stopped, then placed his hands behind his back.
He refused an offer for medical treatment, the report said.
Green Sr. was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Green Jr. was issued a misdemeanor disorderly conduct citation.
Green Sr. was arrested alongside four others after a birthday party at the Parma Chuck-E-Cheese turned into a brawl, when customers beat employees over a broken machine, police said.
